6 teaspoons of red chili pepper paste (I used Gourmet Garden)
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
¼ teaspoon of black pepper
salt and pepper to taste
1½ tablespoon of oil
Lime
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
In a large bowl season drumsticks generously with salt and pepper add in garlic powder and black pepper. Once seasoned, add in 6 teaspoons of red chili pepper paste. Rub chicken on both sides completely covering drumsticks.
Heat oil over medium heat in a cast-iron skillet. Once hot, add in drumsticks sear until golden brown, turning halfway through for 2-3 minutes.
Remove skillet from stove and place in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until done.
Once done, lightly squeeze with lime juice then garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Pairs well with oven-roasted veggies.
