Cover salmon with ½ cup of teriyaki sauce, 2 tablespoons of grated ginger, 2 garlic cloves. Cover and marinate overnight.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a medium bowl whisk brown sugar and the remaining1/ 2 cup of teriyaki sauce, 2 garlic cloves chopped and 1 tablespoon ginger to create a sauce. Stir in apricot slices with black sesame seeds.
Place salmon in a baking dish, brush salmon with sauce.
Bake 15-20 minutes until fish flakes easily.
Broil on High for 2 minutes to caramelized apricots.
