FRIED HONEY SRIRACHA HOT WINGS

Serves: 10-12 wings
- Honey Sriracha Sauce
- ½ cup of sriracha sauce
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 3 Tablespoons Honey
- 1½ teaspoon brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon of freshly chopped cilantro topping
- Wings
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- ¾ cup vegetable oil
- 1½ cup of flour
- 1½ teaspoons season salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons of liquid smoke
- Honey Sriracha Sauce
- Combine the first 5 ingredients in a small saucepan then simmer over medium heat. Stir the mixture until butter is fully incorporated. Set aside.
- Wings
- Marinate wings overnight in season salt, garlic powder, and liquid smoke.
- In a large frying skillet warm vegetable oil.
- While oil heats, place flour in a large bowl.
- Coat 3-4 wings in flour. Gently shake off excess flour.
- Carefully place wings in hot oil using tongs.
- Fry each batch for 7-8 minutes until done and golden crispy. While the last batch is frying Preheat the oven to broil.
- Place wings on a plate with paper towels to drain off excess oil.
- Place wings on a baking sheet and drench in honey sriracha hot wing sauce, turning with tongs to coat both sides.
- Place in oven. Broil for 2-3 minutes until wings are crispy.
- Remove from oven garnish with cilantro and serve immediately. Enjoy with water if necessary! :)
